Yamato Lineart

I was going through old sketches last night and came across a sketch I'd done a couple years ago of Yamato, a character from an anime series called B-Daman. But I touched it up so it wasn't so sketchy.

I was actually all set up to work on character drawings and game art for B-Daman (or Battle B-Daman-- I'm not sure what it ended up being called in the States) for Hasbro, but things ended up falling through after I was well into the project.

Anyway, this was one of my warm-up sketches I did as I was working on the project. Yamato has this cat-like thing going on, which is kind of cool. The series was game/tournament-based, but with pinball/marbles instead of cards (popular in anime like Yu-Gi-Oh! or Duel Masters).
