A few warm-up sketches I did of Cobra Commander before working on another piece for cereal:geek's second issue. I haven't drawn the guy in years, so I figured I should do up a few practice sketches before continuing...

I even snuck in the stylish suit he wore in the G.I. Joe episode "Cobrathon" because... Well, he looks nice, doesn't he?

CC was my first crush back when I was a wee lass, aged five. I always preferred him in his hood and quite looked forward to seeing it onscreen. Probably because you can see his nice brown eyes :)

What does the Baroness see in Destro when the Commander is right there.

GAH! I cant believe I'm in my 20s and still crushing on cartoon characters

I guess we haven't met, I am a HUGE Cobra Commander fangirl, and I thought I was the only one. But there are a few fangirls of CC out there that I've seen, you just need to know where to look.

I'll go ahead an copy everyone else and pretend to say something original like, "These sketches are incredible and far superior to what I can draw and remind me why I started to love the Commander in the first place."

i always wondered why Baroness ever went after Destro... i mean, if i was her, i would've JUMPED CC's bones by now. seriously. rrrrr
